Laraine Kyle, RN, MSN, CS

of Resources for Living Well, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric Nursing, a Certified Massage Therapist and Licensed Esthetician. She holds an International Certification from the Patricia Davis’ London School of Aromatherapy and attended the Shirley Price College Diploma Course.

Laraine has extensive training in many body/mind/spirit systems of complementary healthcare, including Healing Touch, imagery in healing, kinnesiology, yoga and is active in the holistic health care movement. Laraine is an experienced public speaker and teaches aromatherapy worldwide, including England, Thailand, Nepal. She supports the integration of aromatherapy in health care through providing professional aromatherapy education, true essential oils and related aromatherapy products.

Laraine worked as a nurse educator for many years and has been teaching Aromatherapy for over ten years. She co-founded the Institute of Integrative Aromatherapy in 1997 and offers a Diploma Course in Integrative Aromatherapy, available through home study and live workshop format.

Ms. Kyle is a founding member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and is a member of the American Holistic Nurses’ Association and the National Association for Nurse Massage Therapy.

Laraine has served on the Education Committee for the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy, and for many years was a Regional Director for Northern Colorado for NAHA. She is a former Board Member of the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) which offers a national registry exam in Aromatherapy.

Laraine was a contributor to the Nurse’s Handbook of Alternative & Complementary Therapies published by Springhouse Publishers, and has contributed articles on aromatherapy for The International Journal of Aromatherapy, The Aromatic Thymes and The Aromatherapy Journal, the quarterly publication of NAHA.
